Help & FAQ
Pallet Plan works out how many pallets your goods need and how to stack each one: heavy items at the bottom, the weight shared evenly between pallets, and every layer shown in 3D. It also estimates the UK delivery cost of each pallet. It's free, runs in your browser and needs no sign-up.
How it works
- Choose your pallet: UK 1200×1000, Euro 1200×800, half, quarter, 1200×1200 or chemical CP1–CP9.
- Add your goods: boxes, drums or buckets and canisters, with size, weight and quantity. Save the ones you use often under My items.
- See the plan: how many pallets, how each is stacked, the weight and height of each, and a delivery estimate. Print it for the warehouse floor.
Frequently asked questions
Is Pallet Plan really free?
Yes. There's no charge, no account and no adverts. Your items and settings are stored in your own browser.
Which pallet sizes does it support?
UK standard 1200×1000, Euro 1200×800 and 800×600, quarter/display 600×400, drum/IBC 1200×1200, the chemical-industry pallets CP1–CP9, and the North American, Australian and Asian standard sizes. You can set the maximum load height and weight for each.
Does it put heavy items at the bottom?
Yes. At each level it places the heaviest items that fit first, keeps tall items that can't be stacked on anything on the floor, and centres part-filled top layers. Items can be marked keep upright or nothing on top.
How is the delivery price worked out?
The same way UK pallet networks charge: by pallet class (mini quarter, quarter, half, light full, full), which depends on the gross weight and loaded height, and by distance zone. The built-in prices are indicative examples; enter your carrier's rates for real figures.
Can I trust the layout?
Treat it as a plan to check, not a guarantee. Layouts are generated automatically and can be wrong, so always make sure a load is safe and within your pallet, carrier and vehicle limits before loading.
